twist duo are musicians performing party and wedding music in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the greater New York City area. We are comprised of violinist Autumn Shepherd and pianist Eric Shepherd.

We hold degrees in classical performance, but like our name suggests, twist is all about blending—old and new, traditional and contemporary, pieces you may have heard and pieces you haven't. Our traditional combination of instruments gives a classic, rich sound, yet our creative musical selection provides a fresh twist.
